A Word from PJ

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Help! Have you ever been in a place in life where you felt you couldn’t go on another day? Have you ever been at a place where you were screaming help with you words, actions, and thoughts but no help came at all? I have been in a place so dark that all I wanted to do was lay in a room and just go to sleep and never wake up. It was horrifying and I never want to be in that place again. The reason I’m still here today is because of some incredible people of God that just wouldn’t stop loving me. People that saw good, life and purpose in me when I couldn’t. People that didn’t care what anyone thought about them. They just loved me the way Jesus does and didn’t stop. Because of those Godly people comforting and loving me through my darkest time, I am alive and finally being the husband, daddy, friend and Pastor God has called me to be.

Friends, please comfort those that are screaming HELP! They need the Jesus in you.

Love like Jesus,

PJ

They are all around us in this day and time. We just have to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit to know who they are and how to help. When you have been through Much hurt and sorrow, part of the healing process is being able to reach out to others and help them like you have been helped. God is so good and faithful, and I am so grateful for all the help from so many at first church.
