“If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”

Doing good for others is great, but that’s not what this verse is talking about. Love is not just doing good things for other people. It’s a condition of a heart that changes your mind. When you have the love of God, the way you think about others changes. The way you pray for others changes. When you have the love of God within you, your nature changes. You don’t just talk a good game, you live it. As Christians, we don’t just love those that love us back. We will love with the passion to reflect Jesus in all aspects of our lives.
