A Word from PJ

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Psalm 27:14

There are many times in my life that I grow impatient when waiting for things to happen. It may be somebody’s not performing a task quick enough for me. Maybe it’s waiting in a line that isn’t moving at the speed that I think it should. There are also times in my life when I don’t feel that God is answering my prayers fast enough. The great thing about this is that God knows what’s best for me and you. He knows exactly what we need and when we need it the most. The problem is that we don’t want to wait on the Lord’s timing. That is when we get ourself in trouble. Being impatient causes all kinds of problems physically, spiritually, and emotionally. As Christians, we should just trust God in every situation and trust that He will give us the strength to trust His timing.

Love you,

PJ

Amen. It takes time for fruit to develop. Unripe fruit is not always so pleasant and spiritual fruit like Long, suffering, patience, and self-control take time to develop as well. Unfortunately, we have to go through trial sometimes to learn these fruits, I even get impatient with myself lol!
