A Word from PJ

“May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans!”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

When I was younger I looked at this verse in a totally different way. My heart’s desire and my plans were to have a huge house, pastor a mega church and have lots of money. Now more seasoned in my life I see that is not the plan God has for me at this point. Part of the plan He has for me is to have a modest house, pastor a small and the greatest church in the world, and manage the money I have well. Now that I look at life through a different lens my heart’s desire is in my line of sight right now. I have the absolute most beautiful and loving wife that I could ask for. I have four children that love God, family and others in a way that I’ve never seen.

The person looking at my life may not think I have a lot. If they knew what I know they would see my heart’s desire is being lived out in a beautiful way.

I encourage you to look at your life through the lens of the Holy Spirit and you will see things in a beautiful way no matter what you see in the natural.

Love you all,

PJ

Thankful He guides us and is there for us when our plans aren't filled but His are. Thankful my plans to go to the doctor yesterday led to some relief. Poison oak isn't from God!!! My dear houseguests were supportive and we all managed to have a nice visit without doing much!

This is oh so true and great wisdom. Your beautiful family is a testimony to many and our church may be small in number but we can be mighty and we have the greatest gift of all….LOVE. Thank you for sharing your heart and vision casting last night.
