A Word from PJ
“A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.”
Proverbs 29:11 NKJV
I have never heard someone berate someone else out of anger and thought, “Boy that makes me want to be closer to God”. I’ve never heard a church person put down someone who sins differently than they do and thought, ”Jesus must really be pleased with them for that”. I have never read a salty post on social media and thought, ”That’s how you get people to love Jesus more”. In fact NONE OF THOSE THINGS WORK AT ALL! We are to keep all the hate to ourselves. People will never be pointed to Jesus when church people, non church people, or so called Christians hurt one another with their words. The God that rests within us is better than that. It’s ok to air frustrations with situations but never put people down and never think that you are better than someone else. We all need to remember that we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
