A Word from PJ

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

One of my favorite memories of when I was a kid is when my family would have Christmas at my uncle’s house. It was such a peaceful and perfect setting to celebrate. The home would be decorated, music would be playing, the fireplace would have the perfect fire and the food was amazing. As awesome as all that was the best part was watching how all my family would gather around the fire and talk and love on each other. I would sit by the fire and watch my family talk, laugh and smile. It was always the most inviting and welcoming atmosphere that we now try to duplicate at our home. My wife plays music, dances, sings and bakes. We all sit around and do the same things as my family did when I was a kid. The atmosphere that my family set for us was one of love and acceptance. I knew that if I had difficulties in life I could go to any of my family with confidence and they would extend mercy and grace no matter what. I was certainly loved.

As great as that atmosphere was and is, the “Throne of grace” is even better. As Christians we can go to God’s throne in prayer and lay our needs at His feet. God’s throne of grace is a beautiful, loving and inviting place. God welcomes us to relax and sense the peace and love that He offers.

If you are in need just relax and spend some amazing time at the “Throne of Grace”.

Love you all,

PJ
