A Heart of Compassion

Scripture:

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” – Matthew 9:36

Reflection:

Jesus’ heart was moved by compassion when He saw people in need. His response to their suffering was not indifference but love and action. Matthew 9:36 reveals the depth of His care for humanity.

As followers of Christ, we are called to embody this same compassion. When we see others hurting, we reflect Jesus’ love by stepping in with kindness, empathy, and practical help.

Ask God to open your eyes to those around you. Let His compassion flow through you today.

Challenge:

Look for someone in need of encouragement or help today. Show them compassion in a tangible way.

Prayer:

Jesus, give me a heart like Yours—full of compassion and love for those around me. Help me to reflect Your care in my actions. Amen.

Love you,

PJ
