A Word form PJ

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Total transparency on this one.

This one right here is incredibly difficult to do. When you’ve had someone sin against you in the most evil of ways, how is it possible to forgive them? I wish I had all the answers to this one, but I do not. I struggle daily to forgive a person that has brought great harm to my wife, my kids, and my loved ones. Truth is I can deal when someone comes after me. What I have a difficult time doing is forgiving someone when they cause the ones I love great pain and troubles.

What I’ve had to do is pray harder than I have ever prayed. I’ve had to pray for something that in my mind I didn’t want. I keep on praying and asking God to help me forgive. I am trusting it will come.

A work in progress,

PJ

I am famous for rehashing things. Especially when someone has hurt me for no reason.

Sometimes we all struggle with this issue. I have to pray about it daily. The Lord does help us through it. The more we pray about those things the easier it gets. 💙
