Acts of Service

Scripture: Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

As followers of Christ, we are called to live lives of service. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example when He knelt down to wash the feet of His disciples, showing us that greatness in God’s kingdom comes through humble acts of love. Acts of service aren’t just tasks we perform they are expressions of Christ’s love working through us.

When we serve others, we reflect the heart of God. Our acts of kindness, whether large or small, can have a profound impact on those around us. Serving not only meets the needs of others, but it also transforms our hearts, drawing us closer to the One who came not to be served, but to serve.

Today, look for opportunities to serve those around you. It could be as simple as a kind word, helping a neighbor, or offering a listening ear. When we serve, we become the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing His love in practical and powerful ways.

Lord, give me a heart of service, that I may reflect Your love to those around me. Help me to see opportunities to serve, and give me the humility and strength to act. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
