Beautiful Story From Shelbi

So Michael & I dated with intention. We started our relationship being pretty honest in what we were looking for. When we said we would spend the rest of our lives together, and he asked my dad to marry me, we just kind of went from there. We picked a date. I'm planning a wedding. Him not traditionally proposing didn't sit right with him. I've just been kind of like, well... I'm going to marry you with or without a ring & (I'm stubborn and iust don't care about traditions at times)

So today, we planned to go to the Redemption Concert. We get there and him and the kids get food, I go sit down. They announce they're doing a raffle giveaway. If y'all know me, y'all know I'm a sucker for giveaways and WINNING, so they call michaels name and I'm like WHAT BABE!!!

YOU WON! So we walk down together to get his prize. We go on stage and Michael takes this man's mic. He's talking, and then hands me the mic. He gets on his knee and proposes.

I say yes!

He planned all of this out and I literally didn't have a clue. I'm skeptical and nosey and still didn't suspect a single thing. Ethan helped him stall so we got there at the perfect time.

Today was perfect. I love Michael, and I would've been okay with him never getting down on a knee because I know his heart for me. I know he loves me. And because he loves me, he exceeds my expectations and makes sure I know I'm loved.

I say that to say God knew exactly what I needed in my partner. Michael is more than I could have even even knew to pray for. He is
