A Word from PJ

They’ll probably buy alcohol with it!  I have heard this too many times to count over the years in referring to helping someone in need on the streets. I have also ignored that advice time and time again because it’s not up to me as to what they do with the gift I give them. That is on the one who receives the gift. Likewise when it comes to the gifts God gives us. God gives us all so many wonderful gifts and time and time again we squander those gifts by neglecting them or using them for selfish gain or glory. The difference between us and God is, He always gives without hesitation or reservation. He just blesses and leaves how we use the blessing up to us. 

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want God saying “they’ll probably buy alcohol with it”.
