Title: Built by Her Prayers
Scripture: “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28 (ESV)
I can’t help but think about the power of a godly mother. Not just the kind that packs lunches and wipes noses—but the kind that walks the floor at night calling out her kids’ names in prayer. The kind that speaks life over a family when it feels like it’s falling apart. The kind that believes in her children when no one else does and keeps showing up even when her heart is worn thin. A godly mother isn’t just someone who has kids she’s someone who builds a home with faith, truth, and fierce love.
Proverbs 31 paints a beautiful picture of a woman who fears the Lord. And if you look close, it doesn’t say she’s perfect. It says she’s faithful. That means she doesn’t give up. She doesn’t walk away. She doesn’t stop praying even when her kids push her away or when her husband doesn’t notice all she’s doing. She’s got grit. She’s got grace. And she’s got a quiet strength that only heaven can explain.
If you’ve had a godly mother, thank God today. You’ve been given a gift that cannot be bought. And if you are that godly mother, don’t you dare underestimate what you’re doing. The world might not see it, but heaven is watching and your prayers are building a legacy hell can’t tear down.
Reflection:
Behind every strong believer is usually someone’s mama who prayed when no one else would. God uses mothers to shape futures, anchor families, and remind us what unconditional love looks like in action. You don’t have to be loud to be powerful you just have to be faithful.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for godly mothers. Thank You for their strength, their sacrifice, and their steady hands that hold families together. Bless the ones who feel unseen remind them that You see it all. Restore the ones who are weary, refill the ones who are empty, and reward the ones who have remained faithful. May their legacy be one of faith, prayer, and unwavering love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
