“who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

Part of the responsibility of children of God is to comfort those that are in need of comfort. We all deal with things at times in our lives when we need someone to come alongside of us and just comfort us. There have been times in my life when I needed encouragement extremely bad and out of nowhere God sent somebody to lift me out of my despair, just by simply being there for me. As Christians, it’s time for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It’s time for us to comfort those that are needing comfort. It’s time for us to stop piling on those that are down, broken, and hurting.

May God convict us all to be better people and better friends just like our Heavenly Father.
