A Word from PJ

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all;”

Psalms 34:17-19 NIV

This morning I’m reminded of many wonderful people that lost their battle with the struggles of life. The struggle of mental health issues are often misunderstood and overlooked by those that don’t suffer from it. I need everyone to know it’s so very real. If we continue to dismiss the people that deal with mental health issues they will end up losing the battle. The struggle doesn’t always look the same. People deal with this in many ways. I know many people don’t understand and even good intentioned people may dismiss this very real struggle.

If you are dealing with this issue, please know that God does love you and He does hear you. You are valuable and wanted. He wants you to let Him close to you. He wants to put back the pieces of your shattered life. You may think no one is listening to you, but I want you to know God hears you and is ready to heal you. Please cry out to Him in your struggle and let Him in. Fight like never before! Ask God to release the power of Holy Spirit to rescue you in the middle of your fight.

I LOVE YOU,

PJ

Amen! Powerful words and we serve a powerful Savior who will never leave us nor forsake us, even when we are struggling with mental health issues!

Such a beautiful and heart felt word. Thank you, Pastor Jeff! Holy Spirit, the comforter, abides with us. It is such a precious gift to know that, as well as to be plugged into the body of Christsometimes there’s one or two people you can share with, and they will pray with you
