A Word from PJ

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

John 3:17 NIV

The way the world sees Jesus is through His so called followers. That actually explains a lot about why the world is so turned off by religion. I mean who wants to be a part of something like Christianity when all you see from it’s people is judgment, hate, envy, fighting, arrogance, and a host of other ugliness. That’s not inviting or enticing at all. Reality is, you can find more love, caring and acceptance in a bar than you can most churches. That is sad but you and I know it’s true.

We have got to do a better job of demonstrating the love of Jesus to others. They need to know that Jesus loves all of us so much it’s crazy! He loves us so much that He came to this earth and paid the penalty for our sin. That is the kind of love we should be showing to others. A love that doesn’t exclude because of what you look like or what you’ve done. Jesus doesn’t just love those that look like Him or come from a certain background. He loves everyone. Knowing that He loves everyone, why have we as so called Christ followers made Christianity so unappealing? We must do better!

Love always. Love everyone.

Love you all,

PJ

Amen and they will know we are Christians by our love.
