Excuses, Excuses! Being in ministry I’ve heard all the excuses in the world as to why people do what they do. Especially when it comes to why people stop going to church or stop serving God. It’s blamed on one thing but reality is it’s usually another. It’s so frustrating to hear all the excuses that people come up with. I think I’ve probably heard them all and I don’t believe most of them. If hearing all these excuses is so frustrating and frankly infuriating to me, I can imagine how our precious Lord feels. He calls us to serve, but we all want the perfect place. I want you all to know that the perfect place to go to church or serve DOES NOT EXIST. People that have a hard time following through with serving in a church usually have deeper problems spiritually than they want to admit. We have got to stop looking for a reason why we don’t want to serve and just jump in with both feet and tell God to use us where we are! Let’s start blooming where we are planted.
