A Word from PJ

“Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:60‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

There’s a huge difference between having the spirit of forgiveness and actually forgiving people. The true story of Stephen that you read in the scripture, where he is stoned for his faith, is a beautiful picture of forgiving those who hurt you. Stephen didn’t just think about it, he actually did it and actually asked God to forgive those that were killing him. This picture should teach every Christian the beautiful picture of true forgiveness. It is actually possible to forgive those who brought great harm to you and those that you love. Follow through today and forgive those that have hurt you and watch the freedom of God follow that forgiveness.

Love you,

PJ

Amen, When we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, I believe he gives us the capability to fully forgive. Sometimes it takes baby steps to get there but Holy Spirit helps us every step of the way. Then we truly are filled with the freedom God wants us to experience.
