A Word from PJ

“So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.”

Galatians 5:1 NLT

When we give our life to Christ we are free indeed. We are given the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Himself. He places the power of the risen Lord within us, and He enables us to live free of sin and shame. We have the ability to choose right from wrong.  We are called to live in that freedom and never turn back. I know what some of you are saying, “We are human so we will always sin no matter what”.  I want you to know, yes, we are human, but we don’t have to sin anymore. When Christ saves us and we surrender to the Lordship of Jesus He will fill us with the Holy Spirit, thus giving us the power to say no to sin. It’s simply up to us to follow Jesus in holiness or not. I challenge all of us to choose holiness over sin.
