A Word from PJ

Genuine with God, Genuine with People

Scripture: “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.” — Romans 12:9 (KJV)

Genuine restoration begins vertically between you and God but it doesn’t stop there. When you’re real with God, it gives you the courage to be real with others. No more pretending. No more guarded conversations. You can love without fear because your heart is grounded in God’s unconditional love.

God calls us to a sincere, genuine love — love without hypocrisy. It’s impossible to love people authentically if we’re always hiding. But when you know you are fully loved and fully forgiven by Christ, you can love others the same way. Restoration brings a boldness that says, “I don’t have to impress you. I just have to love you.”

If we are going to build real, meaningful relationships, they must be built on the foundation of genuineness. Let’s be people who reflect the real love of Jesus — not through polished appearances, but through honest, humble, Christlike living.

Reflection:

Are your relationships built on authenticity? How can you bring more honesty and grace into your conversations?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for loving me genuinely. Help me love others the same way without pretense, without fear, and without masks. Teach me to be real, so Your love can be seen through me. Restore my heart to love like Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
