A Word from PJ

“Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”]]”

John 8:10-11 ESV

We all experience devastation and disasters in our lifetime. We experience things that can bring use to our knees in horror. Things that could cause us to give up on dreams, ambitions, desires, callings, hopes, happiness, peace, and the list could literally go on forever. In the verse we just read, Jesus speaks to the disaster in this woman’s life. She had probably just been set up to be caught in the horrible act of adultery. Jesus said, “Go and sin no more”. In verse 7 of John 8 Jesus said to the men that brought this woman to Him“...Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her”. How did the men respond to His statement? They walked away one by one. Could it be that they remembered wrong of their own? I would guess so. Instead of throwing stones, let’s drop our pocket full of rocks and help others.

Let’s all remember that Jesus gets down with us when we fall and helps us back up and on to the path of holiness.

Love you all,

PJ
