A Word from PJ

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Get out of your head!” That’s what my wife has to tell me when I get focused on my problems. At times I think the worst of myself and my life. I am so thankful to have a wife that loves me unconditionally. She is always there to get me to turn my focus to God and His Word. When I begin to think on, “…what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise”, God lifts me out of the darkness.

So, whenever you get in your own head and begin to think the worst, stop and think on this verse.

Love you all,

PJ

Great reminder in a day and time when we have to do this often. We must look up instead of looking around or inside ourselves. If we are all honest with ourselves, I believe everyone’s struggles with this to a certain extent. We must continually praise the Lord and thank him in all things.
