God Is Our Fortress

Scripture:

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” – Psalm 18:2

Reflection:

God is our unshakable fortress, a place of safety and refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 18:2 describes Him as a rock, shield, and deliverer, emphasizing His strength and protection.

When life feels overwhelming, we can run to God and find security in His presence. He is steadfast and faithful, offering peace and comfort no matter what challenges we face.

Trusting God as our fortress requires faith. It means letting go of fear and placing our confidence in His ability to protect and sustain us. As we take refuge in Him, we experience His power and love in deeper ways.

Challenge:

Spend time in prayer, thanking God for being your fortress. Reflect on areas where you need His protection and ask Him to strengthen your faith.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my rock and fortress. Help me to trust You in every situation and to find refuge in Your presence. Strengthen my faith and remind me of Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
