God’s Mercy is New Every Morning


Scripture:

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23


Reflection:

Each new day is a gift of God’s mercy and love. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that His compassions are renewed every morning, offering us fresh grace for the challenges we face.


God’s mercy is not dependent on our performance. It flows from His unchanging character and His deep love for us. No matter what mistakes we’ve made or burdens we carry, we can start each day with the assurance that His mercy is sufficient.


This truth brings hope and encouragement, reminding us that God’s faithfulness never wavers. As we rely on Him, we are strengthened and renewed, ready to face whatever lies ahead.


Challenge:

Begin each morning this week by thanking God for His new mercies. Write down one area where you need to rely on His grace and pray for His help to walk in it.


Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning. Help me to rely on Your faithfulness and to walk in the grace You provide each day. Teach me to trust You and to find hope in Your unchanging love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
