A Word from PJ
God’s Peace in Our Hearts
Scripture:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” – Colossians 3:15
Reflection:
The peace of Christ is not just a fleeting feeling; it is a deep assurance that comes from knowing we are loved, forgiven, and secure in Him. Colossians 3:15 calls us to let this peace rule in our hearts, shaping our thoughts and actions.
When we allow Christ’s peace to take control, it guards us against anxiety, fear, and discord. It enables us to respond to life’s challenges with confidence and to build harmonious relationships with others.
Gratitude is closely tied to peace. As we cultivate a thankful heart, we are reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness, which strengthens our trust in Him.
Challenge:
Reflect on an area where you need the peace of Christ. Spend time in prayer, asking Him to fill your heart with His peace and to guide your thoughts and actions.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the peace that only You can provide. Help me to let Your peace rule in my heart and to trust in Your presence and promises. Teach me to cultivate gratitude and to walk in harmony with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
