God’s Perfect Plan
Scripture:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Reflection:
Life can often feel uncertain, and it’s easy to question what the future holds. But Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God’s plans for us are good. This promise was spoken to the Israelites while they were in exile a time when hope seemed far away. Yet, even in their hardship, God had a plan to restore and bless them.
God’s perfect plan is not always clear to us, and it may not align with our own desires or timelines. However, we can trust that He is working for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for the good of those who love Him. Even when we face setbacks or challenges, God is weaving a greater story of redemption and purpose.
Trusting in God’s plan requires surrender. It means letting go of our own agendas and placing our lives in His hands. When we do this, we experience the peace and hope that comes from knowing our future is secure in Him.
Challenge:
Reflect on an area of your life where you’re struggling to trust God’s plan. Write a prayer surrendering this area to Him and ask for His guidance and peace as you wait for His direction.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the promise that Your plans for me are good. Help me to trust in Your wisdom and timing, even when I don’t understand. Teach me to surrender my own desires to You and to walk in faith, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
