God’s Strength in Times of Weakness

Scripture:

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.” – Psalm 28:7

Reflection:

Life’s challenges can leave us feeling weary and inadequate, but Psalm 28:7 reminds us that God is our strength and shield. When we trust in Him, He provides the power and protection we need to face each day.

Throughout Scripture, we see examples of God’s strength sustaining His people. David defeated Goliath not because of his own might but because he relied on God. Paul declared that he could do all things through Christ who strengthened him (Philippians 4:13). Their stories remind us that we don’t have to rely on our own strength because God is always with us.

When we surrender our weaknesses to Him, we experience His power working through us. His strength is sufficient for every challenge, and His presence is our greatest source of comfort and courage.

Challenge:

Reflect on an area of your life where you feel weak or overwhelmed. Spend time in prayer, asking God to be your strength and shield.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to trust in Your power and to rely on You in every circumstance. Teach me to rest in Your presence and to face each day with courage and faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Love you,

PJ
