A Word from PJ

God’s Word as a Guide

Scripture:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

Reflection:

Life can often feel like a journey through darkness, where the path ahead is unclear. Psalm 119:105 reminds us that God’s Word serves as our guide, illuminating each step we take. It does not always reveal the entire journey, but it provides enough light for the next step, teaching us to walk by faith and not by sight.

The Bible offers wisdom, comfort, and direction for every season of life. It is through consistent reading and meditation that we learn to discern God’s voice and follow His lead. Consider how the Israelites followed the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day, trusting God’s guidance one step at a time.

God’s Word is also a tool for transformation. As we immerse ourselves in Scripture, it shapes our thoughts, renews our minds, and aligns our desires with God’s will. Walking in the light of His Word protects us from stumbling into sin and equips us to face life’s challenges with confidence.

Challenge:

Spend time today reading a passage of Scripture and ask God to reveal how it applies to your life. Write down one step you can take to align your actions with His Word.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Help me to treasure it in my heart and to use it as a guide for my daily life. Illuminate my path and teach me to trust You with each step I take. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
