A Word from PJ
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Romans 5:3-4 NIV
I think one thing that we can all agree on is that this life is difficult at times. We all encounter hardships that seem too difficult to bear. Sometimes it’s impossible to keep your head up and keep going. We may even feel like the whole world couldn’t care less if we were in it. You may feel alone and alienated by those you encounter. The easy and flippant advice would be to tell you to just keep pressing on. However, that’s not even close to what we need to hear.
What we need to know is that it’s going to be a difficult journey at times. It may even get to the point that you want to stop the world and get off, but don’t give up. Dive into the Word of God. Surround yourself with people from a church that will love you and encourage you no matter what (you may have to visit many churches before you find a good one). Pray constantly even if you feel nothing. Seek to honor God with your life no matter how bad you want to give up. I can promise you from my own experience it will get easier to look past those who couldn’t care less if you were alive.
You are valued! You are loved! You are wanted! You are accepted! You may just need to change who you want to be accepted and loved by.
Hang In There,
PJ

Amen!
Thank you Jesus
