“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

If there was anyone that we should find it easy to love, it would be the one who created us and gave His life to save ours. However, it seems God is the one most people love the least. The reason may be because things are going bad or we aren’t getting the fair shake in life that we feel we deserve. The reality is that God doesn’t hand out bad things to people because they are bad. It’s really very simple. Humans are born into depravity. When Adam sinned this world was set in a downward spiral of destruction and despair. God wants you to know that there is hope in the dark. When you are in the darkest place of your life, just look for that light piercing that dark sky. That’s the Light of the world and his name is Jesus. He came to take away the sins of the world.

You see we don’t love God because of how good life is. We are to love Him because He first loved us and gave His life for us.
