A Word fro PJ

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

Hebrews 12:11 NIV

I can remember back when I was a child, and how I would get in trouble for something I did wrong. I would get disciplined by my parents, and let me tell you that wasn’t fun at all. Now  that I have kids of my own I understand why my parents would discipline me when I would do something I shouldn’t have. It was so I would learn from it and not make that same bad decision again. Being disciplined lets you know right from wrong. It puts you on the right path. It also lets you know who loves you. My parents didn’t discipline me because they hated me, they did it because they love me. That my friends is why our God disciplines us, HE LOVES US! I know we all get to the point we ask God “why?”, but just know God only disciplines those who belong to Him. So next time you start to do something you know is not in God’s will, stop and praise God that you belong to Him. Then repent and let that discipline put you on the path to righteousness.

Love you all,

PJ
