“I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

In this life we have many ups and downs. If we’re honest, it seems here lately more downs than ups. The apostle is writing to let us know that God is with us in all of those times. We must learn how to see God in every situation. If we let God help us in the down times of our lives, He will teach us how to be content in those times of struggle. In the uptime’s in our life God teaches us how to appreciate the prosperity and how to bless others with it. God wants us to understand that we can make it through any situation because He is the one that strengthens us at all times.

He is so so faithful. Jesus knew we would need the comforter to abide with us, teach us, guide us, help us, counsel us and I am so very grateful. All peace and contentment is found in Him and The Word. Glorify his holy name.
