A Word from PJ

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

1 Peter 5:10

The greatest decision I have ever made in this life was on May 15, 1992. It was in a good old-fashioned Bible preaching church where I was introduced to Jesus. On that day, I confessed my sin to a Holy God. I cried out in agreement with Him that I was a sinner in need of forgiveness. I called out to Him and acknowledged Jesus as my Savior and asked Him to become my Lord. On that day, I put my hand to the plow and started down the path of righteousness. There have been times in my journey that I have chosen the wrong path and displeased my Heavenly Father. At times, I have made choices that hurt my precious Lord. There have been times in my walk with God that I have thought, “What’s the use? I’ve messed up so bad that I’m not fit for the Kingdom of God.”. It’s in those times when the sweeping power of our Lord comes in like a fresh wind. He sweeps me off my feet and gives me the assurance that HE CHOSE ME! He will never leave me nor forsake me. My God will forgive me when I confess and repent. He will restore my soul and put me back on the path of righteousness for His name sake. Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish me.

Love you all,

PJ

Thank you Jesus! You died so that I could live in peace, joy, and relationship with you and others. What a gift of love.

Anything that God has chosen, which includes me, is worth holding on to and fighting for. I am very thankful that He chose me!
