A Word from PJ

Hope in the Waiting

Scripture:

“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” – Romans 8:25

Reflection:

Waiting often feels like wasted time, but in God’s hands, it is a season of growth and hope. Romans 8:25 encourages us to wait with patience, anchored in the hope of God’s promises.

David waited years between his anointing as king and his reign. His time in the wilderness was not idle but instrumental in shaping his heart after God’s own.

Hope flourishes when we trust that God’s promises will unfold at the right time. Waiting refines us, teaching us to rely on His faithfulness rather than our own understanding.

Challenge:

Choose to spend time in God’s Word while you wait for His promises to be fulfilled. Let His truth anchor your hope.

Prayer:

Father, in seasons of waiting, help me hold on to hope. I trust that You are working behind the scenes for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
