“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV


If there is one thing I have trouble with, it’s thinking I have to be in control of everything. I mean it’s to the point I can’t even ride with someone as a passenger in a car. Not, because I’ll get car sick. It’s because I’m not in control of the car. The same could be said of me when it comes to certain situations in my life. There are  times I find myself in the middle of a struggle and I allow it to beat me down. It’s those times I need to humble myself so God can lift me up and bring peace to my situation. 

If you ever find yourself in the middle of anxiety and chaos, humble yourself and let God work His beautiful will in your life.
