A Word from PJ

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”

‭‭James‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭CEB‬‬

Every one of us regardless of how spiritual or close to God we are have hurt other people. We have done things or said d things that we know we should not have said or done. We’ve hurt people intentionally and sometimes unintentionally. As Christians, we know hurting others is not even close to God‘s will for our lives. When we become aware that we have hurt someone we should ask for their forgiveness. When we ask for forgiveness it should be genuine and with great humility. The will of God for our lives is to live at peace with everyone. That seems impossible and maybe not even wanted at times. However, that is exactly what God wants for us. So find a way to humble yourselves, ask for forgiveness of those that you hurt and extend grace to someone even when you don’t think they deserve it.

Love you,

PJ

This is the most difficult hurdle for me to achieve victory over. I truly dislike having to apologize to someone just to "keep the peace" especially when I feel in my heart that I ought to be the one receiving the apology. It's so frustrating.o

Amen! And when we have done what God wants us to do and ask forgiveness from someone and they don’t forgive us, we have to let it go and leave the rest up to God. Great word!❤️

Yes so true. We have to forgive even if someone doesn’t ask for forgiveness because a lot of times people don’t know they hurt us. Very good word as usual, amazing wisdom God gives you.
