I can’t do that

A Word from PJ

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

1 Peter 4:10

I won’t ever be able to do that! When I was young I would spend hours trying to emulate Dominique Wilkins, on my nerf goal of course. He was my favorite Atlanta Hawks player and could absolutely make guys look silly on the court. I could do all his dunks on my indoor nerf goal, but when I took my game to the real court, well that was a different story. I mean truth was I knew I would never be able to play basketball like Dominique Wilkins. That just wasn’t the ability God gave me. We all have people we look up to. We all at times want to do things that we won’t ever be able to do.

That isn’t what God wants for you anyway. God has created us to be unique. He has given each of us abilities that are only for us. If you want to know what your ability is, all you need to do is seek God. He is the giver of good gifts and He will reveal them when we are willing to use them for His glory.

So be a faithful steward of God’s grace by serving others with the gifts He gives us.

Love you all,

PJ
