A Word from Pastor Jeff
“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 NIV
“I’m Gonna Get You Back!” For me this is one of the hardest things to allow God to do. When you are a child of God the enemy absolutely hates you. The enemy wants to destroy your walk with God, your testimony, your relationships, and more than anything he wants to destroy any chance for you to be successful for God in this life. When people that are being used as a vessel of the enemy harm you, the natural response is to get back at them at any cost. Especially when they have perpetrated harm or wronged someone you love. But we as children of God have to take a step back knowing that our Heavenly Father has our best interest at heart. He also has the best interest of everyone. Even those that have hurt you or someone else that you love. It’s not up to us to get back at someone for what they’ve done. However what is up to us is to sit back, pray for them, and allow God to do what God can only do. Let God sort them out!

its hard for me to remember when people say or do bad things against me that what they do or say is just them being used by the enemy, I want to bite back or get revenge, thank God for the Holy Spirit who usually stops me or reminds me that what I was about to do would make things worse. Help me to remember Lord!
