A Word from PJ

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Philippians 4:13

I think I can, I think I can! Well it’s kinda like that, but not like that at all. I mean, I would love to bench press 400 pounds. Can I just say, “In Jesus name I can benchpress 400 pounds.” and it happen over night? The answer to that question is an obvious, NO! The fact is, if we read this scripture in context we can learn that no matter what’s going on in our lives with God’s help we can persevere. The apostle is not saying that we don’t need help from others or that we can just do anything that we want to do without putting the work in. He is saying that it doesn’t matter how many people help or how many resources you have, it cannot be accomplished without the strength and blessings of God. So all that you do today, do it as unto the Lord and trust He will be there to help.
