A Word from PJ

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.”

Psalms 51:12

What is joy? My definition of joy is, “having an overwhelming knowledge that Jesus lives in you”. When we are in the middle of struggles and just plain ole life, we sometimes forget that Jesus is with us. When we forget that Jesus is with us we lose hope, happiness, peace, grace, and joy. Folks, Jesus is the glue that holds all things together in the life of a believer. He is the gift giver, He is the giver of all good gifts and joy is a huge one. Joy will keep you going when you want to quit work, friendships, church, marriage, and even your life. The joy of the Lord will bring strength when nothing else will. The joy of the Lord is such a precious gift from God to His people. So don’t let your joy be covered up with all the junk in your life. Let the joy of the Lord sort out all your junk and make it beautiful.
