A Word from PJ

“Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. But remember that they will have to face God, who stands ready to judge everyone, both the living and the dead.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:4-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Living for God in this depraved world is tough. It’s even tougher when the people that say they love you slander you because you are pursuing holiness. It happens more often than we would like to think. Living a lifestyle of holiness and striving to honor God comes with a price. Sadly, a lot of the time that price is losing your friends and even family members. Living holy isn’t popular nor appealing to those that don’t know Christ. We need to remember that they will have to stand before God themselves. We can only love them and pray for them to turn their lives over to Christ.

Keep being faithful my friends. It’s all worth it in the end.

Love you all,

PJ

Sometimes it just gets So difficult we might entertain thoughts of failure, Self condemnation, wanting to quit. But he carries the load, So why is it so hard to let go? The road may also feel lonely sometimes but we can’t quit until our mission is complete. He faithfully carries us so no need for tug-of-war with the Holy Spirit. He does the work we cannot do. Thank you Pastor for faithfully feeding us his Word and your devotion to your flock.
