A Word from PJ

“So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.”

John 6:13

Nothing better than leftovers. On Thanksgiving my bride makes our family a feast, chicken-n-dressing, turkey, gravy, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, pecan pie, yams (my bride’s favorite) and much more. That is some great food, but that same food the next day is AMAZING! There is nothing better than leftovers!

Our Lord treats us the same way. Not only does He provide us with great blessings, He makes sure there are leftovers. The Lord’s leftovers are when we think nothing can go right, and out of nowhere a blessing comes. Like when you think you will never find a true friend again, and God brings you the prefect one. Like not having any food for your family, and God provides through a food ministry. The Lord’s leftovers may seem silly, but I can promise you they will be as good as leftovers after Thanksgiving to a hungry soul.

Christian, why don’t you share some of the Lord’s amazing leftovers with someone in need today.

Now I’m hungry,

PJ
