A Word from PJ
“For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”

As Christians, we are called to live a life of service until the Lord. We don’t become “Christian“ to just get safe passage out of hell. That is not what being a Christian is about. Being a Christian is living a life that honors the Lord the best that we possibly can with the help of Holy Spirit. God wants to commune with us through His word, prayer, and service. God is honored when we pray to Him, when we live a life that honors Him in word and in deed. When you become a child of God, God places within you His Holy Spirit. When Holy Spirit comes to live in us we have an overwhelming desire to love, honor, and cherish God in everything that we say and do. Does it make us perfect? No, that is why we needed a Savior. We could never be perfect. However, after receiving salvation through Jesus, we have the desire to live a life that honors God.

Yes so true, We are called to excellence in everything we do not perfection. Jesus is perfection and completeness. I am so grateful that we can rest in the Lord While pressing to be excellent and glorify him. Trying to be perfect is exhausting! As always Good Word and great reminders Jeff. Thank you.
