A Word from PJ

Living a Life of Gratitude

Scripture:

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Reflection:

Gratitude is a powerful attitude that transforms our perspective and deepens our faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 calls us to give thanks in all circumstances, recognizing that God is always working for our good, even in difficult seasons.

When we choose gratitude, we shift our focus from what we lack to what we have. It reminds us of God’s faithfulness and provision, filling our hearts with joy and hope. Paul and Silas exemplified this when they sang praises to God in prison, demonstrating that gratitude is not dependent on circumstances but on trust in Him.

Living a life of gratitude glorifies God and encourages others. It allows us to see His blessings more clearly and to approach life with a heart full of worship.

Challenge:

Start a gratitude journal and write down three things you’re thankful for each day this week. Reflect on how this practice impacts your perspective and faith.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness and blessings in my life. Teach me to cultivate a heart of gratitude, even in challenging circumstances. Help me to focus on Your goodness and to glorify You through my thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
