“and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.”
Ecclesiastes 3:13 NKJV
There is a stigma that hangs over the title Christian. People seem to think that if you are a Christian that you can not have any fun in this life. The fact is, that type of thinking is dead wrong. God wants us to work hard and enjoy the benefits of this life. As Christians, we are to laugh more, dance more, shout more, and enjoy everything God has given to us. We are not to sit around and be all doom and gloom. We are the salt of the earth. We are to add flavor to everything we touch. People should see the way we live and enjoy this life and wonder how they can have the fullness of life. The truth is, the fullness of life only comes when you receive Christ as Savior and Lord and allow Him to guide you through this amazing life we have been given.

In my early years I was more down to work, work, work. I rarely ever took time for any enjoyment. I also worked alot and my child didn't get much enjoyment either. I am much older now and realize the error of my ways. I can't go back and change all of that now. But I choose to have times of laughter and fun now. For my son, I feel as he is like me, and will learn. much too late. I pray that he can see me laughing and enjoying life and take the hint.
