No More Hiding

Scripture: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” — Proverbs 28:13 (KJV)

It’s tempting to hide our faults and pretend that everything is fine. Yet the Bible teaches us that covering our sins leads to spiritual dryness, not blessing. When we hide, we delay our healing. When we confess, God pours out His mercy. Genuine living doesn’t mean being perfect — it means being humble enough to admit when you’re not.

There’s mercy waiting for you, but it’s on the other side of honesty. When you confess to God, you’re not informing Him of anything He doesn’t already know. Confession isn’t about informing God; it’s about inviting God to work in your heart. It’s saying, “God, I agree with You about my need for Your grace.”

Restoration begins where hiding ends. You’ll never have to wonder if God will receive you. Every honest prayer, every genuine moment of surrender is met with the arms of a loving Father who longs to heal, restore, and set you free.

Reflection:

Is there something you’ve been trying to cover up from others, from God, maybe even from yourself? Step into the freedom of confession today.

Prayer:

Father, forgive me for the times I’ve tried to cover my sins instead of confessing them. Thank You that when I bring them to You, You meet me with mercy, not condemnation. Restore my heart and teach me to walk in truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
