A Word from PJ

“The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

Ecclesiastes 12:13 ESV

Why as God’s children can’t we get this right? We are born again to a living hope. We are called to live lives that honor God and show love toward each other. Instead, we live our lives in a way that shows we care more about ourselves than we do living a life that honors God. If you don’t believe me just look around. It doesn’t take much for us to show our true colors. People lie to feel better about themselves. We see people steal just to meet a materialistic desire. People gossip and treat it like a prayer request. Daily, people step out on their spouses because someone else shows them attention. People don’t honor their bosses by taking short cuts at their jobs. Kids cheat in class to avoid a bad grade because they didn’t want to put in the work to study. Drivers lie to a cop to get out of a ticket. I know you know I could go on forever, but I won’t. You’re welcome! We have got to realize that the day we meet Jesus face to face is WAY sooner than we think. Let’s get our hearts right and call our actions into submission with the authority of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit.

Love you all,

PJ
