A Word from PJ
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
In the days we are in, living out this verse is hard to do. On the other hand it’s not impossible. We all grow anxious about situations that we face in life. It could be a job or the loss of a loved one. It could be that your kids are taking the wrong path in life. It might be money issues. It may be an addiction that has plagued you and your family for generations.
God wants you to know you don’t have to let those issues get the best of you. He wants you to hand the reins of your life over to Him. He wants you to tell Him your troubles and ask Him to take control of them all. When we are sincere with our petition and relinquish all to the Lord, He will give you a peace like you’ve never known right in the middle of your living nightmare.
