A Word from PJ

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.””

Acts 1:8 NIV

Power to do what? The answer is found in this verse, “...you will be my witnesses...”. We are to be witnesses of the Lord Jesus. You may ask, “Why would we need power to be a witness for Jesus”? Because without the power of Holy Spirit it’s impossible to be a witness for Jesus in this evil world. We don’t have it in us to press through bad times and still live out a good testimony unto the Lord with our own strength. That kind of power comes only from God. Holy Spirit gives us all the power we need to be a world changer, if only we would yield to Holy Spirit.
