A Word from PJ

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

One of my all time favorite things to do in this world is sing songs of praise to our God. It seems no matter what mood I’m in or what kind of day I’m having singing songs of joy change my day for the better. 

There are times when I don’t want to sing or shout with joy because my day, week, month or year has been terrible. However, when you press through that tough moment or season and just start singing songs of joy (remember joy is an overwhelming knowledge that Jesus lives in you) it’s like all your worries and troubles fade away for that moment. Not to mention that God so loves to hear His people praise Him. Praising God draws Him toward us. The one place you want God is near you when you are in a tough season or even a good season for that matter. It makes God’s day when He hears you praise Him and it will bring you happiness even in the toughest of times.
