A Word from PJ

“To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.”

Proverbs 8:13 NIV

Have you ever met someone that was so full of pride and arrogance that if they were a car they’d be a Ferrari? I believe we all have met someone with that level of arrogance. Certain things can cause some people to feel superior to others. It could be the way they look, their title at a job, or the amount of money that they have. It could be the place they live, who they’re friends with, or how many followers they have on social media. Along with many other things. Truth is, arrogance doesn’t come from any of those things. It comes from an evil heart. A heart that is more in love with itself that it will say or do anything to keep that feeling of superiority. People of God love others and hate anything that would cause others to feel inferior, no matter the reason. Regardless of what we may think, we are not better than anyone else in this world.

Reread the verse again and you will find an awesome amount of wisdom packed into this verse.

Love you all,

PJ
